Rather than feel like Chicken Little, running around squawking “The end is near”, I just have to believe that the information below is on track.
Right now we are all cutting back (businesses as well as individuals), unsure when, not if, things will turn around.
But businesses can only continue to exist if they are re-inventing themselves and have a plan for growth in the future. They are operating with minimal employees right now, trying to wait out this recession. That is why I believe this data makes sense. Not all, but many businesses will have some sort of a growth strategy, and that will require creating and/or filling positions in Business Development and Sales. It should also result in the need for marketing and operations folks to carry out the message and delivery of their re-invented products and services,

Remember: Keep an eye out to re-invent yourselves based on what you know about your occupation and industry trends. The future looks bright through my eyes, at least for those with the desire to adapt.
