As you’ve heard a thousand times, networking is vital to your career and job search success. And networking is about connecting with your tribe (wherever they hang out).

This week’s summary is about how to better connect with your tribe. From asking for help with your job search to using social media platforms like Twitter and Instagram, and get the most out of LinkedIn’s newer features.
Just because you can’t attend in-person events, doesn’t mean you can’t network and meet new people.
Finding your tribe refers to finding people who do what you do, think like you do or you feel you have something in common (perhaps they work at a company you are interested in).
Social media platforms make is infinitely easier to find people who talk about things you are interested in. Find them, learn about them, follow them and then engage with them!
Connect with your tribe, the people you already know, first! And chances are, you already are connected with them on some social platform! Eventually, you’ll want to send them a message to ask for help with your job search…you’ll find templates featured in this week’s summary too!
And even if you aren’t actively job searching, using social media is a super way to build your network and connect with your tribe!
It’s been awhile since I’ve posted or shared anything on social but I’m back and it feels good!
Thank you for the outpouring of support and love during the past two months! I’m so grateful to everyone.
