As a small business owner or solopreneur (business-of-one), I often find it challenging to do everything that needs to get done in a day or even a week. There are many hats to wear and often times, I just don’t have the expertise (or desire) to do some of the things that need to get done.
I have a keen interest in topics that are important to small business owners and for the past several months, I’ve been sharing information I’ve found helpful and interesting on Twitter on Saturdays. I use the hashtag #smallbiz to call out these shared articles.
In case you aren’t on Twitter, here is my Paper.li page. You will see I share articles mostly written by others so you get different voices across different topics related to small business.
You can expect to see and hear more from me on the small business topic. What topics/issues are important to you? Leave a comment, let me know!
FYI:
Technically each of us is already a business-of-one. You and I both need to manage our career and income streams so that we have a career insurance policy. This was so nicely explained in a LifeHacker post by Alan Henry (oh, by the way, he references me!)
