Many times our reputation precedes us. Your past actions carry a lot of weight and leave a memory in the minds of those you’ve impacted by your actions.
Sometimes, we may be known for something or seen by others in ways we are unaware of. We take stuff we do for granted. We are to close to the subject. We have filters that don’t allow us to see ourselves the way others do. And sometimes, we just chose not be self-aware.
I’m self-reflecting here because today I am meeting with someone to help me with MY branding and business strategies and it is frightening and painful to figure this stuff out.
What do I want to be known for and remembered as?
Heck if I know…right!
If I really take my time, ask for the input from others and do the super hard work, I know I’ll get there and you can too!
I’m going to continue to work on this and give deep, careful thought to the answers. I hope you will too!
