PS: If you want to WRITE a recommendation for someone, LinkedIn seems to have hidden this option (for now). One way to do it is to go to your recommendations page. Here’s LinkedIn’s answer:
- Navigate to the Manage Recommendations page.
- Click the Give recommendations tab at the top of the page.
- Search for a connection to recommend by typing their name in the text box under Who do you want to recommend?
- Follow the prompts to write the recommendation.
- Click Send.
