There is ALWAYS something going on. There are webinars, live presentations, Twitter chats, Google+ hangouts and so many other events, I personally find it hard to track it all.
Maybe you know of a solution to gather them all in one feed/place. The closest thing I could find is 99events.com. It searches these sites for listed events: Meetup.com, Eventbrite, Eventful, Ticketleap and events from Facebook.
